Gary began his career in law, before seeing the light and gravitating to the noble profession of accountancy. With an enviable client base and a history of working with businesses through periods of critical change Gary is known for his ‘can-do’ attitude. He’s worked extensively in a range of acquisition and disposal assignments, and has advised in director, shareholder and employee incentive arrangements, including detailed business valuations and negotiating with HM Revenue and Customs.
Gary has a very commercial outlook and is regarded as giving robust and practical advice. More recently Gary has also become a non-executive director in different companies to complement his role at DSA Prospect.
Gary has a particular eye for detail, is a hugely methodical planner, and has a great commercial sixth sense. This combination of skills brings unparalleled value to his client relationships. However these skills do come at a cost – his inability to settle for less than perfection drives him to fulfil his addiction to triathlon races. Apparently he has a waterproof laptop to keep on top of emails whilst doing the open water swimming sections.
