Nick likes to think of himself as the elder statesman of the group and the others are happy to leave him with that belief to keep the peace. Hailing from Ernst & Young, where he and Doug met, Nick specialises in transactional tax and complex advisory work for entrepreneurial businesses. Nick has also acted widely in business valuation both on a contentious basis and for tax preferred share option schemes. In more recent times, Nick has undertaken a number of non-executive directorships specifically advising boards on maximising shareholder value for exit. He is currently on the board of three companies in film and television, sales consultancy, and IT, as well as his role as director of DSA Prospect. Nick also co-owns a business providing advice to management teams on strategy in both the commercial world and public sector. Nick is an obsessive gym attendee, and also an expert kickboxer, so we tend not to argue with him.
