Announced by the Chancellor as part of his Summer Statement back in July, the Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

Whilst we’ve not been able to celebrate it in the style we’d hoped and planned over the past 12 months, we’re delighted to announce that today (1 October) is our 10^th Anniversary!

After what has been a relatively quiet couple of months in terms of Covid 19 announcements from a finance perspective,  following the tightening of social guidelines in response to a recent uplift in cases the Chancellor has today outlined a further raft of measures as part of his ‘Winter Economy Plan’.

We are delighted to announce that Louise Mason has passed her final exams and achieved AAT qualification.

Just a quick reminder that as of yesterday (1 September) the amount available to claim from the government under the Job Retention Scheme (i.e. the ‘furlough’ scheme) reduces to 70%.
